Ice Pick, China's newest citizen, establishes the first Team Doyle Chapter overseas and gets to work in the back roads of Beijing.

Fresh from his victory over 400+ swimmers in the Alcatraz Invitational, JakeDog has thrown down the gantlet (or should I say pawlet) for the P-to-P! He not only promises to beat JD, but also to join the Sub-1 Club...and then make Doyle cook his scrambled eggs, and meow like a cat.

Backstroke Bailey Splashes to Victory. James Bailey set Bay League records in the 100-yard backstroke and the 100-yard individual medley, the latter also being a CIF record, Bailey's third this year.

"Entered in the AAU championships this weekend at Yale University is James Bailey , UCLA freshman star from Santa Monica. Bailey, 1964 CIF 200-yard freestyle champion, already has set Bruin frosh records in the 50, 100, 200, and 500-yard freestyle events." Evening Outlook, March 30, 1965.
