Team Doyle members train year-round for the Dwight Crum Pier-to-Pier Swim, held on the first Sunday of August. This 2.1-mile race starts just south of Hermosa Beach Pier and finishes north of Manhattan Beach Pier. The event is part of the International Surf Festival.

However, being a member of Team Doyle is not easy at times. If you show any sign of weakness, be it physical, mental or emotional, you may be exploited on this web site. One of your quotes may get posted, there could be an unflattering caption on a photo page, or you could be written up on the DMH Report. But just remember, it's all in fun, and as much as possible, at Doyle's expense!
